In just under a year since it was launched, you have helped our Modernising Medical Research campaign gain momentum.
 
Over 3,000 emails have been sent to MPs, asking them to call on the Government to accelerate the replacement of animals with human relevant methods.
 
In November, Martyn Day MP tabled Early Day Motion 674 calling on the Government to embrace the potential of New Approach Methodologies (NAMs). It also highlights our call for a new role within Government to accelerate the replacement of animals with human relevant techniques. Over 1,400 supporters have asked their MPs to add their voice and over 50 have now signed the motion.
 
In a few weeks, the current parliamentary session will come to an end and EDM 674 will close. In the meantime, it is vital that the motion gains as many signatures as possible. This will help to demonstrate the strength of support in Parliament for a kinder and more modern approach to science.
