Can we count on your unswerving support once more with a donation today to fund this life saving cancer research project?

A glimmer of hope from kinder science.

Cancer is one of the leading causes of death in the world. In fact, every sixth death worldwide is due to cancer. And whilst every loss is a tragedy – humans are not the only victims.

But hope comes in the form a progressive, human relevant, animal free research project.

At our Animal Replacement Centre of Excellence (ARC 1.0), Dr Adrian Biddle and his team are embarking on a project to develop reliable animal free methods to understand how tumour cells spread and invade other organs of the human body (known as metastasis).

Most Metastasis research uses large numbers of animals, from mice to monkeys, despite there being fundamental differences between us and them. Animal experiments are not, and can never be, a reliable way to research human disease.

This innovative 3-year project requires £50,000 in funding. Can we count on your generous and unswerving support to fund this life changing project?
